What is a Jack & Jill?  It's sort of a North American tradition of holding a get-together for a Bride and Groom.  Kind of like an engagement party, or wedding shower.  In this case, all wedding attendees and selected additional special guests are invited to the pre-nuptial celebration.

In Jeff & Clare's case, this event also allowed an opportunity for the extended families to get acquainted.  The local GTA (Greater Toronto Area) folks were eager to meet Clare and her family, and vice versa.

The event was hosted by Jeff's parents (Sally, George), his Aunt Rose, and assisted by his best man (Sean Graglia) and his wife (Stacey).Jeff and Clare in their bow hats

Suffice to say that everyone had a great time, and was looking forward to the wedding in England.  Pictures are a bit sparse, but luckily this shot was captured by Jeff's Uncle Jim (Murry) with his digital camera.

Kudos to the female contingent of the Toronto Crew for putting together the bow hats.  (Another tradition: Making hats out of the bows and wrapping from the presents.)
